Weekend ended

Well there goes the weekend again. Just passed by like the wind.

Today I feel like sharing some cool pics and graphics that I found. Some are interactive.

Hi-Def Pics - Gorgeous Landscapes of Scotland

Don't u just love looking at landscape. These are one of the most beautiful pictures I have seen yet. But I bet that they are too true to be real. The adjustment of camera features and a little bit of photoshop can go a long way. May be it's just as real a s it seems. but hey wat do i know, i've never been to Scotland before.

Antilimit

Here's another beautiful photographs by Eric Gustafson. He's got some extensive collection of photographs, good amazing ones. I hope he doesn't mail me to take down the picture I post here.

Ballpoint pen art

Now you probably won't believe me that the picture above is not a photograph. But this guy is the real deal. He draws his art with blue Bic pen! lol yea the one that we use at the office or college or at home.

Glennz Concept

Ah... comical t-shirt design. I think there's a word for that. shit I forgot what it is called. You know by wearing these kindda t-shirts it don't just benefits you. I mean you've got a cool t-shirt for one, you make strangers to laugh a bit in their heart, you're colleagues would appreciate it and have a good conversation about it. It's a really fun way of wearing a simple design shirt isn't it. oh the real store is here Glennz

CANADA : The Land of Beautiful People

Human is the most interesting subject to be photograph for. It shows a lot of characters, stories. and i think the phrase a picture says a thousand words is very true especially it is a human subject. And I really believe that these photoes are not Computer Graphics. I know that the picture above resembles the Afghan girl that was featured on the cover of the June 1985 issue of National Geographic Magazine. So wat the hell, i like to post it may be that's one of the reason as well that i want to share with.
The Afghan Girl

27 Fantastic Vectors

Isn't vectors are just fucking amazing? gosh they're like the 21st Century painting. The new canvas is your monitor and posters, wallpaper, or t-shirts is your wall to mount it on. well all of the sources from the website above is taken from the ever amazing Deviant Art which is one of my favorite art scene in the net. Gosh! there are some brilliant and talented people out there.

Well I will end this post with a site where you can doodle like wat you can do with paint in windows. but isn't it cooler to do it from the web? hahaha enjoy Web Sketch

Connection Lost

I couldn't go online last night. It was working fine in the morning as I was logged in at WOW (World of Warcraft) before i went for work. Then when i came back my torrent went offline. everything else seems to be connected. and there's no sign of connection that is lost. I looked at my modem and the online light was not on at all. dozens things going through my mind. one of them was that i thought i might be tracked down and they cut the connection after they found out that I've downloaded hundreds of shows, songs and movies. so I reset my modem like a dozen times, restarted my computer twice and waited and waited. I watched two movies before I decided to go to bed. Domino and Atlantis. I thought that there might be some glitch some where in the system or something that they ganna solve over night. Then the morning came. DAMMIT! it's still offline. so fuck it, i'm going to go to work first. So i called up STARHUB when i got back from work, which it was still offline. so i made up some stuff that i need to send important email or something and that i paid up on time every time and blah blah blah and i got this kind of treatment. they said, well she said, that they ganna gimme a call as soon as they know wat's the problem from the technical team. so i asked "around what time will I received this call?" she said, "I'm not sure, may be tonight or tomorrow." I was like what the buck right? so i just sigh and hang up. within ten minutes after i reset my modem, DING! the online lights is on. Bastard STARHUB.

So this post i'm ganna post up the best way to download shits of the internet. it's like a way of me getting pissed of at STARHUB for making me offline for one and a half day.

Now the best way of downloading stuff from the internet is by using torrent file. well for a small fry like me is very god and it's free. no payment needed to be made at any level. If any of you don't know what bittorent file is all about please read it through here BitTorrent.

Here's my list of the best free torrent clients:

This is what I use.

Here's the sites you can download the torrent files:

This is the site i always go to. some prefer others like the ones listed below but i like this one because of the arrangement of the files. they put extra effort on arranging individual torrents.

This is one of the many most popular site as well.

Well i guess this site is THE ONE that made BitTorrent exploded and famous through out the world. You can read it in various sources of news about the history of pirate bay but this is the Wiki page of The Pirate Bay history. Respect boys, respect.

This page is quite nice where people can actually request their fav shows or movies in the forum and then others will help them finding the links or upload the torrent. it's a very good community.

I like this website too because of one thing, or one ripper, AXXO (wiki). If you are tired getting fooled by unknown rippers this is the site for you. I know how it feels like you waited hours sometimes days for your favorite shows to finish downloading then when you watch it, it's a cinema copy. some guy just taped the show from a cinema with a DV cam and upload it in the net. must be pain in the ass waiting for it. So this site is like a hub for the best rippers in the world out there. I mean it. The most trust worthy movie rippers that you can bet your money on it.

Now I would like to share a bit of info of these people that have put so much effort to give us the entertainment that we need.

AXXO is my favorite ripper by far because he always gives good movie copies every single uploads at a decent file size. some says that he's still a teenager some says he's in prison already. but no body knows his real name. reason being that he is so popular in the torrent community there are many forgers and imitators of him. so even the officials can't track him down. I believe that every single one of you out there who has downloaded a movie once in your life or get passed on from a friend has at least one of his ripped movie. his files would be indicated as "name.of.movie[year]DvDrip[Eng]-aXXo.avi". every single of his files would be seen as this so it can be distinguish easily. sadly, after three to four years following him, and his breaks in between, his had stopped again on March 11th 2009. His last upload was Punisher: War Zone (which I have by the way). He has uploaded more than a thousand torrents out there scattered around famous bittorent sites. There are others who are as good as he is and uploads almost everyday. These people are FXG, FxM, KLAXXON, DXO and much more. This is one article that I found insightful about AXXO from Slate.com.

Now enjoy these links and please seeds after you download. at least a day or two. no harm in that. Spread the entertainment!

Good Morning

Good Morning

Well i guess it's good morning when i post this it's just after midnight at my clock. I typed 'good morning' at youtube.com and this came out. It's a clip from 'Singing in the rain' movie. I thought it was wonderful. I've heard it before somewhere in the past but never knew it was from this movie. I guess my knowledge on classic movies is not that great.

Now this is wat i found so far from last night

Funny Knit Patterns
Variations of knit patterns and different kinds of usage for them. I love the finger mustache one.

100 Frame Per Second
For those who are a noob at video editing, they should at least read half of this. I'm a video editor myself but i'm a Video Tape Operator now and all of these kind of information are really important for my job.
well this particular site explains what 'interlacing' is all about. This is very crucial especially for those who are dealing with digital video, well you can say that most of video stations are broadcasting digitally now.
I've seen some student projects on campuses or just videos on the displays that are home made or home made videos on youtube have combing effect. this just annoys me. a good quality of video should be presented the best possible way. and this is one of the solution.

One More Level - Avoider
Hahaha... this is one game that hooks u up for at least 10 mins. May be just to blow off you steam for a bit. or may be you'll get even more pissed off if you fail. try it out.

Gameroom
I have a producer whose his job is to review games for his show Game On! now, he gets free games almost every week for PS3, Xbox 360 and Computer games. so there are like dozens of games on his rack at the office and it looks so cool. but this guys are just NUTS. they've got games from EVERY possible console there is in the planet.

500 Useless Facts
I went to this restaurant where u can play board games with my friends one time, well actually a few times. and there was one sheet of laminated paper with all of these kind of weird facts typed on it like 'honey is the only food that does not spoil'. and this site has got 500 of these facts. lol...

Anti-Litter Awareness
I just love creative ads. i will post a lot more of these in the future. this is one of them where collective garbage were placed in a container.

Man in the Dark
Just move ur mouse around and click it... it's mesmerizing sometimes

40 Amazing 3D art pieces
There are many gifted artists out there who produce amazing, astonishing work of art. these are just a few. it's a collective of work on display at Deviantart and flickr. i like the terminator skull one.

Design-Milk
Product designers, architecture, sculptures made our place to live much more lively i guess. appreciative may be. i dunno. i guess wat i'm trying to say is that they make everything so much cooler looking. so this is one of the many hundreds designer websites that stands out. oh check out their chair collection. cool.

Crazy Rabit
My last post for today would be, just wiggle around ur mouse and make the rabbit crazy.

have fun!
This would be one of the random video that i would post. I always love Japanese funny videos or pranks or just ads. There's just something abt them.

Where to eat?

Ever wonder where to eat something new or special in Singapore? well there's one blogger Dr Tay who blogs on good foods that he eats around Singapore and JB I think. i took a glance at this while back when I was surfing.
Kindda interesting views of the food and takes good pictures too, makes you just drool all over your monitor. there are varieties of food to see here, the halal and the non-halal. He also tells you on how much are the prices for most of the food so that you get a sense of idea on how much would your budget be.

Now this is like the yellowpages of restaurant. It's not only for Singapore but Hong Kong, KL, Sydney and Melbourne. This is more suitable for those who would like to categorize their selection of food. For example, you wanna eat at Bedok with a budget of 5-10 SGD. There's an option there for you to choose.
They also would deliver to you. They would send a dispatch to go to the restaurant and take your order then deliver it to you. Of course you have to pay extra.

So go and try out something new for your taste buds next time you are going out with a bunch of friends in the weekend.

The Bypass

So you wanna check ur friend's status at Facebook, Friendster, Myspace, or you got too bored and wanna watch some youtube clip just to brighten up your day or have a giggle a little at the office or at the computer lab but then after you enter the address then BAM! you are redirected to some where else or there's a message on your browser that the address has been block. then you curse your heart out (in side your heart) and damning the tech guy in your office.

so wat do you do?

hahaha...I haven't try this yet but apparently this website will 'bypass' the firewall in ur office or college system. I should try this tomorrow at work

I know that there are more website like these out there. i will update them when i found them.

The start

I wanna start a this blog to see if I can really commit to something entirely without leaving it deserted after a month or two.
I had a blog last time at friendster i think but then it kindda got boring and then left it or was it here? i'm not sure or was it myspace. argh i dunno.
So i finally found a theme. I love to surf the net. just browsing through from one website to another. you can find amazing stuff if you look properly. so my theme would be my favorite or interesting websites that i found in the net and some random thing abt me in between. I won't lie, i use Stumble Upon as my tool. it's a really fun app to use. but other than that i will use like youtube, metacafe, google vid, and other website that I personally go to everyday.
so in the coming few days i will start at random subjects, then i will catagorize them for day by day subject. like for example, monday is video day, tuesday is tech day and so on.
so wish me luck.
