Talk Tonight

Oasis has been loved and hated by many people. But their songs will always be within me and Live Forever. Despite all the angers between the brothers, as always until they broke up, they do create something beautiful, meaningful or just plain rock and roll. I just can't wait for Noel's solo album. As we dance through the life that we live in, we just gaze the beauty around. We call out for help, we scream out from our cave to be noticed, "Who's there? Can any body hear me?" The trap that we set ourselves has eaten us alive.

Take a minute and walk a few steps to the side to take a glance at that branch as it blossoms cherry blooms at the tip. Let your nose inhale what's not there anymore, out of the polluted air that we make everyday, there's always a few spot where there's still pure delight lingers.

Walk through that field of grass and lay down to see the bright blue sky and imagine that you're not of this flat, solid ground. Leave the weight that burdens your shoulder just for a moment and take a deep breath as you close your eyes and everything else will follow.

It might be hard to even consider the following. We strike the plastic squares with our fingers at nine until the day dawns then socialize with our close ones until the heavy head hits the soft feathers filled pillow.

If only we take a moment and give back a smile to the sky that always been there for us then may be, just may be a little spark of enlightenment would actually appears in our heart. It could be that little smile that would make a passer by his or her day. That same simple smile could be the cause that erase a Dull day that is ours or theirs.

Dizzy

This has got to be one of my favorite band of all time. It's kindda funny how I discovered them. I mean I knew their most hit songs like The Middle, Sweetness and A Praise Chorus. But I never knew their songs after that album Bleed American. Then I was surfing around MySpace looking through my friend's friends. There was this girl who has one of those playlist of songs in her site then I saw Jimmy Eat World. So I just click play, Chase This Light was on, ZOOM! (you know, one of those camera effect where the camera zooms in but the background goes further away) I got hooked.

So this band is like kind of underrated, not many people know the songs from them but I don't know if it's just me or the songs just connect to me. May be the marketing isn't that big from their label and that's why the exposure isn't that much. Any how, this is one of their songs.

Green Day

I have been a fan of Green Day ever since I discovered punk rock music in 1997. Nimrod was the first punk rock album I've ever bought. I felt free after listening to that album. I've discovered something that changed my life forever. The anger, love, lust and forgiving story are all combined into that one powerful CD.

Then I went on to dig their old stuff such as 39/Smooth, Kerplunk, Dookie and Insomniac. It was the times that I was rebellious. It was the reason that I wanted to learn to play the guitar. To be as cool as Bllie and have a great band mates like Mike and Tre. I was the only guy that listen to their songs extensively while others were listening to Korn and Limp Bizkit (though I was listening to them too) but I was the only one that knows all the lyrics to all of Green Day songs. Their first two albums spoke to me as if telling me, "Hey man, don't worry everything is gonna be fine. You're not the only one in the world that is going through this." It was the times of my high school lovely dovey days about girls and stuff. Some songs still connects to me even until now.

I was in a band and we would play When I Come Around lots of times in the studio. They were the reason we made a band at the first place. I would watch many of their concerts through youtube and buy bootleg CDs and cassettes to hear them live and feel the energy. I would strap on my Strat guitar in my room put on the head phones play Basket Case and rock my socks out jamming to their tunes and imagining I was jamming with them in front of tens of thousands of screaming crowd.

Tonight was a blast, a dream come true. for more than 12 to 13 years of my life listening to their songs I finally got a chance to see them live. It was exhausting, exciting, entertaining, emotional, sentimental, powerful and enlightening experience for me. It's like I feel as if my life has been fulfilled. I have been to dozens of concerts and gigs for more than 14 years of my life and this is by far the best of them all. They were strong, funny and mind blowing. May be it's just me. But hell, I saw the crown at my back, everyone was getting their ass up and rocking their socks off as well.

I want to thank you Green Day for giving me The Best Time of my music life. There's nothing that could ever change that. I will still listen to your songs even when I turn grey and wrinkled and pass along your songs to the next generation. Again thank you for this and for making the music that has been there for me. Thank You.

I'm the kind of download the movie kindda guy and good quality one. I would like to have the file in my computer and store it for future viewing or share it to others. I mean we all carry thumb drives nowadays. and most of them are 2GB, 4GB or 8GB or even 16GB. So I like to share. Call me a pirate. Yes I am a pirate. But aren't we all in a way?

I still go to the movies. I go to cinema like three to four times a month. So I'm still contributing to the industry (Hollywood, mostly). I download the movies that I couldn't get to watch in cinema or not available in this country or I wanna watch it again in an easy way.

Hell, DVD cost more than watching movie in cinema. It's like the cost of my broadband bill. I swear if it isn't because of the money, i would buy all of those DVDs already. Man if only I earn like 10,000 bucks a month... whoa... I would have my own library of DVD collections.

Any way, going on to the main topic. For those of you who would like to watch a movie streaming with good quality, please go to this website StageVu. Please don't be fool by the main page. Go search the latest movie that you want to watch out there (well may be give it like one or two weeks after the box office release) at the search box. Example type in Transformer, then look for the DVD release or DivX quality.

If you don't know what DivX is, it's a codec like MOV or AVI or WMV. And also a player with great quality but small size. Wiki it if you want to know more. If you want to download the web player its on the right side of the Stagevu website or download the player itself for free at the DivX website I gave.
